Regionals 2009 Approaching
With only a few days to go until the South West Regional Brass Band competition in Torquay the band are rehearsing hard. The test piece 'New World Sketches by Dan Price' has proved very enjoyable to rehearse over the past weeks. We hope that our new players enjoy what is perhaps for some of them their first experience of a contest day. The other bands in our section on the day are:

4 Bars Rest Runners & Riders
Every year popular banding website http://www.4barsrest.com reviews the annual contests and posts it's thoughts and predictions for the weekend. Interestingly 4BR has predicted that Phoenix will be in the mix this year, along with 5 other bands (Camborne B, Heyl Town, Filton Concert, Shrewton, Bristol East & Kingswood).
