Gearing Up for Weston

For the past couple of months we have been busily preparing ourselves for our annual trip to the Weston Super Mare brass band contest. This contest brings a fresh challenge for the band. Weston offers bands a chance to select their own choice of test piece, and as such we have chosen to play Gilbert Vinter's Triumphant Rhapsody which has many tests for all players throughout the band. Fingers crossed we can all keep up with Paul at the end!

Weston will be a first for two new players who have joined the band in recent weeks. Will Mellor (Eb Bass) and Steve Taylor (Baritone Horn) will be contesting with us for the first time, we hope that you both enjoy the day with us.
