Phoenix Band's Big Night Out

Watch out all of you in East Lambrook on Saturday evening, as the band has booked a meal at the Rose & Crown to celebrate our successes of 2009.

2009 has been a great year for Phoenix. After a slightly disappointing 7th place at the Areas in March we have not looked back, coming in the places at every contest since and bringing home 5 trophies in the process. We still have the Wessex Brass Band Association Annual Contest in Weymouth next weekend (28th November) so fingers crossed we will be able to add to our trophy cabinet even further.

Thanks to Bev Dean for suggesting and organising the meal; it has taken a lot of time liaising with the pub and getting us all to make our minds up on what we would like to eat. The Rose & Crown is a lovely pub offering great food and a good selection of beer and wine. We have booked the skittles alley for after have eaten so we can all relax and have some fun.

Please make sure you arrive by 7.15pm  at the latest .... or you may miss out on your starters!
