John Woods Heads for Sherborne

We are sad to announce that one of the bands founding members, John Woods, has decided to call it a day and is heading to pastures new to play with Sherborne Town Band.

In the near 20 years with the band, John has not only been a commited euphonium player, he's also held the positions of Chairman, Secretary and Contest Secretary. John has family ties with Sherborne band so it's a return for John to an old haunt. We wish him the best at Sherborne and thank him for all of his effort at Phoenix.
