Return Concert at St John's, Yeovil

It was great to be invited back to St Johns Church, Yeovil last evening and what a great night of music it was.

Our programme opened with a ‘twist’ on the well renown Men of Harlech before our solo cornetist; Anne Stone gave a beautiful performance of the Salvation Army tune; Share My Yoke. The programme continued with a variety of styles including something for all ages, from Harry Potter to an Old Comrades ‘sing-a-long’ which found our audience in great voice!

Our thanks to the church committee for organising the evening, thanks also to the guest players who joined us on stage and also a special thanks to Graham Robinson for stepping in and taking the band due to our MD being away. Finally thanks to everyone who came to listen to the concert, we hope you enjoyed the evening and hope you will look to come and support us again in the future.

Next concert up for Phoenix Brass is our Christmas Concert at Henhayes, Crewkerne on Friday 21st December.
