Rise of the Phoenix

After what already seems a long day from an early start, the results are in which the band placed 9th in the second section of West of England areas, which is certainly an achievement I’m sure you’ll agree!

A personal thanks to our Musical Director, David Boorer for all his hard work and who has slotted so nicely back into his role since re-joining the band last Summer. We are also extremely grateful to our helpers, players that ‘moved seat’ and to Colin and Claire that made a return, we hope to see you again soon.

Thank you also to everyone for your kind comments earlier prior to the band performing and your continued support.

What's Next

We will now use the adjudicator comments along with the guidance of David to learn and improve as we now move forward to preparing for our next concert at St Bartholomew’s Church, Crewkerne on Sunday 12 May.
