Young Talent

It was with great joy that on 28th August 2010 at Barrington Village Fete that the Band welcomed their very latest talented new recruits and played their first Concert with the Band.

Mark & Hannah Bulgin who are the children of Mum Julie ( Flugel ) & Dad Dave ( Trombone ) played 3rd Cornet and did a fantastic job.

It nearly didn’t happen as Mark fell off his bike only 2 days before and had to have a couple of fingers stitched and glued and had a nasty gash on his leg. But true to the “ Old Pro “ he is, said that the “ Show must go on “, and played although in some pain and discomfort. You couldn’t take the smile off Mum all through the Concert.

In fact the whole Band were so pleased to see Mark & Hannah playing as most of the Band have see them from birth when they didn’t have rattles but mouthpieces!.

Thanks Mark & Hannah. You did your Mum & Dad proud.
